Export duties on onions have been reduced again

According to the Club of Journalists: Recently, the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture, considering the relative increase in the production of onion and tomato crops in the country and also in order to balance the amount of production, consumption, and price in the market and to assist producers, in the direction of sustainability of production and export of the mentioned products, reduced the export duties on onions from 100% to 40%.

Based on the new circular of Iran’s Customs, the export duties on onions have been further reduced from 40% to 10% of the base export price (according to the announced tariff) from the 5th of Bahman month until the end of the year.
